Abstract
Hermon Sackett was a senior at Edinboro State Normal School in 1902. In 1909, he returned to his alumater as a teacher. Here he remained until 1933. He taught French, HigherMathematics, Latin and History. He was also Dean of Men and head of the Social Studies Department.

There were four Literary Societies at Edinboro, Potter, Philo Everett, Clionian and Agonian. This record group contains materials from the Potter and Philo Everett, with the bulk from Potter. Modern materials range in subject matter from governance of the student government association to materials on various student clubs.

Abstract
This is a small collection of 9 folders of varying types of materials. There are two 1931 student newspapers that are not included in the University Archives newspaper collection. There is also a 1935 teaching contract for Conewango Township. In it is typed the agreement that should Ms. Witmer get married she would be terminated immediately.
